Great Lakes encourage students to experience summer school at various international universities around the world. Universities from the United Kingdom, United States of America, Singapore, China, and Spain are looking forward to welcoming our students for summer school 2018.
Summer school or summer enrichment is a course, lasting a week or more, during which those in attendance generally opt subjects of their interest, combined with extracurricular activities. These courses take place over the summer between school or university terms and are residential.
GLC encourage its students to attend a summer school or summer enrichment program as it offers students a wide variety of benefits listed below.
Two of the brightest, sharpest and most responsive minds will be selected by Great Lakes College, Gurugram, to attend the most coveted and prestigious Summer School at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). The LSE Summer School has a global reputation and is the largest in Europe, with over 80 courses. Last year, LSE had over 7,000 student enrolments representing 116 nationalities. For the students who attend, it is a once in a lifetime academic, cultural and personal experience.
This would be for one, three-week session, on a course of their choice and include tuition fees and accommodation within an LSE Hall of Residence. The students would need to cover to & fro travel, insurance, visa fee and subsistence (daily living expenses) in London. Breakfast isincluded in the accommodation.
Session Two: July 10 – 28, 2017
The two students will also be given a chance to feature in a short film, whilst they are at LSE.
